Fall/Winter lip colours

Hello my lovelies

I don't know about you but I am really getting into fall and winter this year (despite the extremely cold weather here in England). The one thing I really love when it comes to fall/winter is being able to wear darker lip colours.
Now I have pretty pale skin in the winter so its hard to find a lip colour that isn't too over bearing however this year I have found four which I am in love with :)
Maybelline 14 hour lipstick in Continuous Cranberry
MUA lip stain in Crazy In Love
MUA matte lipstick in Wild Berry
Number 7 in Allure (this was limited edition in the Poppy King collection so they may not have it anymore)

I love all of these colours and if you have pale skin like me then they are the perfect colours for autumn/winter

Where I've been and Level 1 teaching course!

Hello my lovelies

I am so sorry I've been gone for so long I have been major busy with school work and work its self.

So a couple of  weeks ago I completed a week intensive training course for my level 1 swim teaching and I am so glad to say that I passed! I was really lucky because two of the guys I work with done the course with me and I also happened to meet two girls that I used to swim against in competitions.

The week was very intense and if you aren't on top  of the coursework then you will end up rushing it (as did a few of us due to work) however it was a lot of fun and I have made friends with people who I would never have met otherwise. If you are looking into becoming a swimming teacher Id say go for it as I cant wait to do my level 2 course :)

Italy (Lake Garda) 2013..x

Well this summer has been so hectic with work and school work, seeing my friends and going away but I have to say the best part was going to Italy, it was just so nice to relax and sight see :)

On 19th August me and my family got on a hour and a half flight to Milan, and after stepping out of the airport I kind of wish I'd stayed at home because it was raining really bad (the weather did get a lot better don't worry!). However we got in our rental car (there was 5 of us with 5 medium to large pieces of luggage and the Renault Senic 3 had plenty of room) and drove 3 hours to a place called Tignale in Lake Garda. The place was lovely and the view from my balcony was amazing!
This is the view from the balcony from the second night, how beautiful is it?

We stayed in a hotel/apartment that catered for a gluten free diet (my mum and I are both Coeliac's) and let me just say the food was amazing and the staff knew what they were doing and how to handle it brilliantly (if you want to know more about it then just email me).

We visited various places over the 10 days Limone, Riva del Garda, Malcesine and Sirmionie to name a few. I have picked the best photos of the holiday to share with you and all I can say is I cant wait to go back again to such a beautiful country :)

At the top of Monte Baldo (1800m from sea level!!)
Standing in front of Juliette's balcony
Love letters at the entrance to Juliette's balcony

The amount of padlocks on these doors was amazing!
Sea/lake front at Riva del Garda
Am I the only one who thinks these street are adorable?
Best Frappachino ever!! (at the Casa del Caffe)
Fiat 500 in an Italian street the photo just had to be taken!

 Boats at Gardone
Sirmionie has the best ice cream/gelato in the world and so many flavors!

If anyone is going to Italy any time soon I hope you have as much fun as I did!

Summer dresses

Helloo

I'm so story I haven't pasted in a while I've been really busy with exams and school work. Anyway today I want to talk about summer dresses. The weather in England has been very pleasant at the moment so I have been wearing more summery clothes, the best ones are summer dresses. I love summer dresses because not only are they easy to get on and off (especially when shopping) they're also very light and comfy I don't feel like I'm going to get too hot if I wear a dress.

This dress is the one I've been wearing the most, its from Quiz but it was in the sale for £10.I find it very light and comfortable to wear and its at a length where even if you have to bend over to pick something up it won't show your bum. I've been wearing it with my hair natural, a floral headband (I don't remember where I got it), the necklace was £4 from Primark. Shoes wise I wear light pink converse with white socks that have a frill on the top, and depending on how cold it is I'll either wear a pick cardigan or my leather jacket :)

HappyNailsUK Review!

Helloo

So on the 12th of May me and a few friends went up to London for an event called Pulse. Pulse is a trade show for company's that specialize in home wear, gifts, fashion ect. One of the booths we visited was called HappyNailsUK.

To begin with we were only having a look at the booth but then the lady who ran it came over and started to speak to us, I can honestly say she is one of the friendliest and politest people I have met. She offered to show us how to apply some of the products and told us about them and helped us chose which wraps, stickers and tattoos to buy.
Now I've tried a lot of nail brands and each one I hope will stay on for longer then a day. Not only am I clumsy so my nails chip but because of being a swimmer the polish usually peels of very quickly. I've had the nails wrap and nail sticker on for 6 days (including Sunday) and have been swimming since and they are still in perfect condition. Luckily I bought a set of nail wraps and 2 sets of nail tattoo's!
So if you are looking for nail wraps/sticker/tattoos that are at a good price and last a long time then I would thoroughly recommend checking them out, just google HappyNailsUK and it will take you to their website:)

Nail Wraps 6 days after being put on and going swimming!

Nail Stickers after 6 days and swimming!

My pack of Nail Wraps

Nail tattoo's top set are flowers and the bottom set are bows

If you try them out let me know what you think of the company and it products

Ombre Nails

Hello again

So I know that the whole ombre nail trend was last year but I am still loving it, I got a bit bored yesterday so I decided to try it out for the first time and was surprised how easy it was (however a little messy)

The top photo shows how it turned out and I think it looks pretty good, however it did take 3 coats of the colours over the white nail varnish. The colours i used were the 2true brand from Superdrug and they were about £3 but were on offer at the time, the colours are number 47(pink), number 48 (blue) and number 50 (lilac).

I also thought i would try it out on my toes, it didn't turn out so good but the colours I used were Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours in orange (£2) and MUA in shade number 15 (£1), both are from Superdrug.

To complete the ombre trend you need to paint the nail with two coats of white nail varnish and let it dry. Then get a make up sponge and paint the colours you want to use in stripes onto it. Then slowly dab the sponge onto the nail and let it dry, repeat the dabbing technique as many times as you want until the colour payoff is to your liking, clean up the edges with nail varnish remover and a cotton pad. Finally seal the nail with a clear top coat and you're done!

Rimmel Foundation Review

Hello again

So for the past month or so I have been using a new foundation, its the Rimmel London Match Perfect foundation. And I have to say I love it!

My shade at the moment (I haven't got much of a tan) is 103 True Ivory. The foundation is really good because one pump of it will cover you face nicely but if you need more you can use more without it looking too cakey. It gives a nice dewy finish to the skin and is a medium to full coverage foundation.

As you can see it blends really well into the skin with it being virtually unnoticeable.

The brush I use to apply it is the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush which just give it that flawless look and blends it into the skin really well.

British Weather!

Helloo again

I don't know if its just me but I am loving the British Weather at the moment! It's been around 20 degrees here which I know isn't boiling to some people but if you live in the UK you know what I am on about. Unfortunately 6th form keeps me from being outside but as soon as I get home it coursework in the sun!! With the weather like this it's really getting me so excited about summer and going away, summer holidays really need to hurry up!

I have been loving wearing outfits like this at the moment, The whole outfit is from primark and I love it especially the shorts so lets hope the weather stays like this <3
