HappyNailsUK Review!

Helloo

So on the 12th of May me and a few friends went up to London for an event called Pulse. Pulse is a trade show for company's that specialize in home wear, gifts, fashion ect. One of the booths we visited was called HappyNailsUK.

To begin with we were only having a look at the booth but then the lady who ran it came over and started to speak to us, I can honestly say she is one of the friendliest and politest people I have met. She offered to show us how to apply some of the products and told us about them and helped us chose which wraps, stickers and tattoos to buy.
Now I've tried a lot of nail brands and each one I hope will stay on for longer then a day. Not only am I clumsy so my nails chip but because of being a swimmer the polish usually peels of very quickly. I've had the nails wrap and nail sticker on for 6 days (including Sunday) and have been swimming since and they are still in perfect condition. Luckily I bought a set of nail wraps and 2 sets of nail tattoo's!
So if you are looking for nail wraps/sticker/tattoos that are at a good price and last a long time then I would thoroughly recommend checking them out, just google HappyNailsUK and it will take you to their website:)

Ombre Nails

Hello again

So I know that the whole ombre nail trend was last year but I am still loving it, I got a bit bored yesterday so I decided to try it out for the first time and was surprised how easy it was (however a little messy)

The top photo shows how it turned out and I think it looks pretty good, however it did take 3 coats of the colours over the white nail varnish. The colours i used were the 2true brand from Superdrug and they were about £3 but were on offer at the time, the colours are number 47(pink), number 48 (blue) and number 50 (lilac).

I also thought i would try it out on my toes, it didn't turn out so good but the colours I used were Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours in orange (£2) and MUA in shade number 15 (£1), both are from Superdrug.

To complete the ombre trend you need to paint the nail with two coats of white nail varnish and let it dry. Then get a make up sponge and paint the colours you want to use in stripes onto it. Then slowly dab the sponge onto the nail and let it dry, repeat the dabbing technique as many times as you want until the colour payoff is to your liking, clean up the edges with nail varnish remover and a cotton pad. Finally seal the nail with a clear top coat and you're done!
