London Fashion Week

Hey guys

So today a few friends and I went unto Somerset House to experience London Fashion Week, now I know that to get into the events you must have a pass (I am going later on in the week to London Fashion Weekend with my mum which I shall write a post about) however we did manage to go and attend a panel which included Henry Holland answering questions about technology in fashion.
Playsuit - Boohoo
Jacket - New Look
Shoes - Matalan
Bag - Michael Kors
At Uni one of the groups were set the task of photographing street style, unfortunately I was not part of that group on that day but thought I'd give the task a go when I went yesterday. Here are some images that I captured of peoples style.

How amazing is this girl's hair?!

And heres a few photos I managed to take in the panel

Overall I had a lovely day and I am extremely excited to go again on Friday!

Till next time...

Lanzarote 2014!!

Hey guys!

So as promised I'm going to tell you all about my recent holiday to Lanzarote. So I guess I should start from the beginning, we ended up booking our holiday through Secret Escapes (now bare in mind it was both mine and my boyfriends first time going away together and booking a holiday by ourselves it was scary trying to book a holiday!). We chose an all-inclusive holiday to make it easier when we get there and I have to say it was the best decision we made!
We chose to go to the Be Live Resort Lanzarote for 5 days as it looked like a really nice modern place, near a beach, it had a pool and it wasn't too expensive. Everything was sorted out for us from the flights to the transfers so all we had to do was pack and have our passports and boarding tickets.
On the day of our flight (which was at 6:25am!!) we got up and got dropped at Gatwick north terminal dropped our bags off and went through security got breakfast and then got on the plane. 4 and a half hours later and we landed in Lanzarote, getting our bags was quick and easy then came the trouble of getting our transfer. We found the desk and they sent us outside, we must have waited around 30 mins and in the end we ended up going up and asking them about our transfer which we got sent to and we was on our way.
The hotel was only 15mins from the airport, check in was quick and we had arrived in time for lunch and then we went down to the pool. The hotel had 3 pools, one for kids, one was heated and then just a normal pool. the poolside bar was great it was really easy to get drinks and there was plenty of food there. We did some exploring and found the beach which was just at the edge of the hotel, it was a small beach but was so lovely because it was sheltered from the wind and the water was clear and so nice to swim in.
Most of the time we spent at the beach and then we would go back to the hotel for lunch and dinner and then drinks afterwards. The food was so good especially the way they dealt with my Coeliac all I had to do was tell them what I would like in the morning and they would prepare it for either lunch or dinner. On our 4th night we went to the VIP restaurant which was also amazing and dealt with my Coeliac really well.
One of the things we made sure we done while we was there was a get a photo shoot from the hotel photo company. So on the 2nd to last night we went down to the beach with the photographer and got a lot of photos, after coming back up to the hotel we decided that the best thing to do was get the photos on a memory stick (which also came with them on a disk), we chose 13 photos and in total it came to 95euros which was a lot but as we hadn't paid for anything while on the holiday we decided that we would be ok with paying that.
The final day we went over the road to the shops to buy presents, there was a wide range of things to buy and places to buy at including a mini market. There was a local bar which we sat down and had a drink in whilst checking our social networks. We then went back to the hotel, had a swim, got changed and waited for the transfer back to the airport.
At 9:30pm we were on our way back home after an amazing holiday! Here are some photos from our holiday from my boyfriends phone (sadly my memory card corrupted and I haven't had a chance to get it repaired).
The view from our balcony which was lovely!

This is the little beach we went to, so quite and pretty

This is the view just as you walk out of the hotel to the
beach at night, its so calm and peaceful!

This is what I wore on the 1st night, the dress is from Italy, the shoes from a local boutique
and the necklace is from Primark

Cocktails on our first night (mines the Pina Collada on the left!)
which were so yummy!

If there's anything that anybody wants more detail on the hotel and our experience of it then don't hesitate to email me :)

Until next time
